Super Evan
Evan has been sick for the past couple of days with hand foot and mouth disease. His mouth has blisters in it and is very painful. Yesterday afternoon he began feeling better and came over with his mom to visit us. He did some painting with water colors and made some beautiful pictures for me and his mom. Then he had his mom paint him some penquins and a monster. While he was painting I had made some bread in a jar for gifts and Kim had cut some cloth for me to use to decorate the jars. She tied the left over cloth around Evan's neck and he suddenly became "Super Evan". He was just a blur running through the house with his cape flying behind him.

Supper Table
.
Sunday afternoon I went over to Jacob and Kim's to help Kim make some snowmen for Christmas presents. When Evan got up from his nap he joined our snowman making project. We got a step stool and pulled it up to the counter so he could help. I would hold the sock open and he put the beans into the sock one handful at a time then pushed the stuffing down into the sock. His whole arm would disappear into the sock when he put the stuffing in! After he had filled the sock with stuffing he held it up for me to tie and trim the top. Then he passed the snowman to his mama. We let her do the creative, artistic parts. Evan did help put on a few noses! When we finished our snowman project I told Kim I was going to head home. Evan wanted to go to Mimi's house so, of course, I couldn't say no! We buckled up in the car and headed to Mimi's house. By the time we got home it was about supper time so we got us a bite to eat. Evan didn't want to sit at the big table and I didn't want him running around the house while he ate. So, we got a bit creative and made him his own private dining area. Evan was happy and so was Mimi!

Tool Time
Billy made this tool box for Jacob when he was a small boy. Evan absolutely loves it! He uses the tools to fix all kinds of things...even his horsey!
