Building a Flying Bat with Granddaddy

Today Evan went to Lowe's in Vidalia to build a flying bat with his granddaddy.  He was so excited!

Here he is getting on his safety gear.  He's got safetey goggles and his own builders apron!
The mighty duo is ready to build their bat!

Evan gets out all the parts of his bat.

"Granddaddy, I've got the wings!"

"Peace Man,  We've got this under control."  (Or maybe Mommy has!
Here's our completed bat!

We got a badge and certificate for successfully building our bat!

This Post is for Courtney and Jacob!

Evan requested a picnic today!
So, Granddaddy grilled hamburgers.
But Evan made his own peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the picnic!!

Sand Box Time

I've got an idea!
 This will be the foundation.
I've got to cover it up.

We need  a load of dirt,
I need some more wood.
We can use this for wood too.
I still need some more wood!

Posted by PicasaThis can be some wood.

Rest break.
That was hard work! ( gotta love that dirty face!)

Rock Star and Homecoming Parade

Evan was a rock star today. He rode on the Jeff Davis Primary School's float in the homecoming parade. Kim attempted to spike his hair but it insisted on curling!
