Evan is finally big enough to ride our old rocking horse. This horse belonged to my sisters and me when we were kids. When Karen and I were kids, I got the bright idea that we needed us a white stallion. Daddy had conveniently left a bucket of white paint in the playhouse where the horse was stored so we proceeded to make him a beautiful white stallion. Unfortunately, Karen got paint on her and according to her she got a whipping and I didn't! My friend painted it for me a few years ago so now Evan can enjoy our horse. He has learned to rock fast and hard! Of course, his favorite mode of riding is for granddaddy to make it bounce up and down while singing "Giddy up cowboy" along with a lot of made-up nonsense lyricks. When Billy quits bouncing and singing, Evan signs for more!! (Jacob and Kim taught him some sign langauge! He likes the more sign.)
