We went to look at some puppies with Evan today. One of his classmates at pre-school had some beagle/rat terrier puppies ready for new homes. Evan wasn't too sure he wanted one of the puppies at first.
When his daddy asked if he wanted one of the puppies he said that the puppies needed to stay where they were.
While he was trying to decide if he liked the puppies he and his friend had fun playing with their donkeys. He was totally unafraid of the donkeys but wasn't too sure of the puppies! He even let one of the donkeys eat out of his hand.
Evan finally decided he did like the puppies...or at least this puppy. Jacob asked what her name should be and Evan promptly said "Lucy, like that black dog." So here's Lucy!
So, here he is with Lucy in a basket on the way home. Lucy was tired from playing and slept all the way home.
